Poison Control Staff

The North Dakota Department of Health contracts with the Minnesota Poison Control System to manage all poison exposure calls for North Dakota. All poison information specialists and poison information providers of the Minnesota Poison Control System are uniquely trained to assess, triage and manage poisoning emergencies. The poison information specialists are pharmacists and nurses and are certified as “Specialists in Poison Information” by the American Association of Poison Control Centers. The poison information providers, who come from a variety of health care backgrounds, work along side the specialists in poison information in managing calls from the public.
